2022 – A Year of Achievements

We take a look back over some of the highlights of 2022 that have made us proud of HUG HUB and the thriving insurance industry this year…

Continued partnership with Markerstudy

We started the year with a very exciting announcement about the renewal of our ongoing strategic partnership with Markerstudy. As part of our agreement, we have helped them towards transforming their commercial lines placement process and improving their customer engagement within their expanded SME division. Extranet HUB showcased at BIBA

May saw HUG HUB returning to the  BIBA conference for the first time in person since 2019.  We showcased our new game-changing, time-saving, admin-reducing software solution, Extranet HUB. This new product, due to launch in 2023, enables brokers and insurance carriers to save time, decrease costs, improve efficiencies and boost revenue by providing fast access to multiple SME insurer extranets with just one data entry. Awarded ISO 27001 certification

ISO 27001 is an internationally recognised standard that ensures businesses adhere to an effective information security management system. After multiple best practice processes were implemented across the business, and a rigorous audit completed, HUG HUB was awarded certification in July. Industry thought leadership

We shared our ‘five trends that will define the future of insurance’ series via our mailing list, website and LinkedIn page during November. Also in November, HUG HUB exhibited at the 2022 Broker Expo in Coventry. Our focus was on Extranet HUB, the sophisticated yet simple-to-use software that gives brokers fast access to multiple insurer extranets with just ONE data entry. It was great to be back at the expo in person after two years of Covid restrictions, and to have the chance to catch up with lots of old friends.

A big deal and a growing team…

In December we signed our biggest ever deal with, with an innovative startup motor insurer which looks set to shake up the industry. More news on this coming soon….

Our team has grown significantly this year with 12 new starters over the last 12 months. We’ve recruited people into software development, project management, business analysis, creative development, sales & marketing and finance roles, taking the team to a total of 30. Additionally, we have plans for more hiring next year, so watch this space if you’re considering a career move!
